Bowling

I aimed for a pin

The ball started to spin

Threw as smooth as butter

Right into the gutter

 

Time for the next throw

I just let it go

Back into the crowd

The people were cowed.

 

Trying for a strike

I threw a spike

I launched the ball

It went up the wall.

 

No cause for alarm

I just mean no harm,

But my lousy aim

Ended the game.
